The course "Theoretical Mechanics" study in three parts: statics, kinematics and dynamics. To study all these sections must have a corresponding mathematical training. It should also be able to freely use a system of rectangular Cartesian coordinates on the plane and in space, to know what the unit vectors (vectors) these axes and are expressed as components of vectors along the coordinate axes with unit vectors. To study the kinematics must be freely able to differentiate the functions of one variable to plot these functions be familiar with the concepts of the natural trihedral, the curvature and radius of curvature. To study the dynamics have to find the integrals (definite and indefinite) from the simplest functions to compute the partial derivatives and total differential of functions of several variables, and be able to integrate the differential equations a second order with separable variables and linear differential equations of order 2 (homogeneous and heterogeneous) with constant coefficients.
